Considering the current reconciliation efforts between Turkey and Israel, which center around compensation for the families of those killed aboard the Mavi Marmara flotilla ship on May 31, 2010, we thought this BBC documentary called Death in the Med which aired on August 22, 2010 is a good reminder of what happened.
Interestingly, the BBC posted a ‘response‘ to comments that the documentary showed bias in favor of Israel, and was too critical of terrorist-supporting IHH. The problem for the BBC, of course, is that showing both sides of the story is automatically showing bias to the Israelis, since some people expect only the Arab narrative to be shown when dealing with Israel.
